The Jaffaria Education Center (Islamic Center Jaffaria) was the first meeting place for Shia Muslim congregations in Denmark, and has been located in Nørrebro's multinational area in the heart of Copenhagen.​

The Imam al-Sadiq Center offers Arabic programs since its establishment in the year 2005.

The Danish programs started in 2015 and are currently limited to speeches in Ashura and other smaller events .

Imam Ali Mosque offers speeches and mourning poetry in Danish, Arabic (Iraqi and Lebanese) and Persian (Afghan and Iranian) as well as distribution of food from the Iraqi/Persian/Lebanese Ashura kitchen.​

The Fatemiyun association was established in 2017 and offers a mix of programs including social activities and excursions.​

The association Khatamul Anbia was formed in 1998 when the Imam Alsadiq Center bought their current building on Hejrevej. The members are an association of Afghans and Danes with Afghan roots, who revive Ashura and Ahlul Bait mourning ceremonies traditionally.
